New items are being added to this website on a regular basis - the latest is a list of the local model railway clubs, societies and organisations that exist in the United Kingdom, plus brief details of model railway exhibitions. Other sections of this website contain links to websites of various preserved railways, railway and transport museums and organisations in the United Kingdom and worldwide.

More sections and information will be added to this website as time permits! It is hoped that the pages will be part of a railway encyclopedia which can be of use to anyone who is interested in, or wishes to improve their knowledge of the subjects of railways and model railways - through to fellow enthusiasts!

Links to other pages, either to this website or to other organisations are shown in blue text, but underlining of the links has been discarded to make the appearence of the pages of this website look neater and tidy.

This website also contains the “Links to other railway pages” that were previously part of the South Tynedale Railway website. Although there is access between both of these websites, from one to the other, for ease of use for users. Access is from the navigation frame or window, which is shown to the left of this page.

It is not intended to cover air transport on the above websites, but links could be added to other useful existing websites about air travel, at a later date, as and if necessary.
