North West England

- Alston Model Railway Centre and Exhibition at Alston.
Located next door to the South Tynedale Railway, in addition to the well stocked shop, there is also have a permanent model railway exhibition with layouts in various gauges.
Central England
Gloucestershire
- Bourton Model Railway Shop and Exhibition at Bourton-on-the-Water.
A model railway shop with some of the finest operating indoor model railway layouts in the country, covering over 500 square feet. Including an HO gauge layout with working fun fair models. Over 40 British and Continental trains run automatically on three main displays of OO/HO and N gauge, with the unique attraction of visitor control. Including a British OO gauge layout and an N gauge layout with fully operating turntable.Staffordshire
- Coors Visitor Centre and Museum of Brewing at Burton-on-Trent.
On the second floor of the joiners shop, there is an exhibition dedicated to the transportation of beer - from the road and water systems of the eighteenth century, to the railways of the nineteenth and early twentieth century and back to the road transport of today. Includes a railway model depicting a scene from 1921 incorporating 0-4-0 engines which run on an N gauge track.
South East England
Buckinghamshire
- Bekonscot Model Village and Railway at Beaconsfield.
An entire miniature kingdom stuck firmly in an idyllic 1930s timewarp. There are six little villages in a 1˝ acre miniature landscape of farms and fields, castles and churches, woods, lakes and rolling hills. Walking around, you’ll tower over the tiny population enjoying the fun of the fair, beaches, zoo and tramway, or lazily watching the cricket on the village green. Each village is linked by one of Britain’s largest public outdoor model garden railways.Oxfordshire
- Pendon Museum at Long Wittenham, Abingdon.
The Pendon Indoor Model Village and Railways contains several model railway layouts, plus a shop selling railway books and model railway products and refreshment room.East Sussex
- Brighton Toy and Model Museum at Brighton.
The Museum features a priceless toy and model train collection with an extensive O gauge working layout. Numerous rare model trains are also on display, as well as a working OO gauge model of the Sussex countryside.
South West England
Cornwall
- Hidden Valley Discovery Park at Tredidon, St. Thomas, Launceston.
The park has a large model railway which includes two circuits of Gauge 1 track, one circuit of G-scale track and two circuits of SM-32 scale track. There is also a 7¼ inch gauge miniature railway.
- World of Model Railways at Mevagissey.
Three layouts are based here including a large OO gauge layout which has over 30 trains travelling through varied landscapes including town, country, seaside and even an Alpine Winter. There is also a ‘Junior Junction’ childrens’ railway which features Hornby Thomas The Tank engine characters and a model circus. Plus there is also an indoor Garden Railway which shows how you can transform your own garden to run large scale trains - and you can have a go at driving them yourself!Devon
- Babbacombe Model Village at Torquay.
Set in four acres of gardens there are over 400 models of houses, stately homes, factories, shops, entertainment venues, environmental features, along with railways, vehicles and some well known monuments and landmarks. And not forgetting, of course, 13,000 miniature people who live in the village. New for 2007 is a garden railway.
- ‘Bygones’ Museum at St. Marychurch, Torquay.
One of the attraction is a large OO gauge model railway layout.
- Devon Railway Centre at Bickleigh, near Tiverton.
This attraction includes a 2 foot (610 mm) narrow gauge railway and 7¼ inch gauge miniature railway, in addition to a model railway exhibition and an Edwardian model village with an operational model tramway.
- The Great Exmouth Model Railway at Exmouth.
The home of the largest 00 gauge model railway being constantly update, displaying the British Countryside in miniature with 20 trains weaving their way through 115 scale miles of varied landscape; the villages, towns, stations, traffic, people and even birds in the trees are all authentic to the last meticulous detail.
- Lyn Model Railway at Lynmouth.
A large London and North Eastern Railway layout, modelled in the 1935-40 period, on display in the Parish Hall, adjacent to Lynmouth Parish Church.
- Pecorama at Beer, near Seaton.
The home of the publisher of “Railway Modeller” and “Continental Modeller” monthly model railway magazines and several model railway and railway books and literature. Model railway exhibition and model shop, plus 7¼ inch gauge steam hauled miniature railway.Dorset
- Wimborne Model Town at Wimborne Minster.
This large model town has a model railway and tramway as one of its many attractions.
